I'm all set for English literature, but I would love to venture further into continental Europe. I also need to research some good Mexican novels, as well as descend further into South America. I'll snag some Mario Vargos Llosa and some Che Guevara, as well as Carlos Ruiz Zafron for modern Spainish lit. I'm REALLY lacking in Northern and Southern African lit, Middle Eastern, and Asian authors. I also should slip some Australian authors in there too.

I'm going to keep editing this as I add more titles to this list. I also will commit to writing up reviews of each book, so that I can share them with library patrons and keep them abreast of what I'm tackling this year.

Woo!

Kelley Armstrong is Canadian, and I'm devouring her Women of the Otherworld series (yay 13 books of awesome ladies :D)

Also, Dualed is a YA novel coming out this month by a new author from British Columbia.

Actually the other book I'm looking forward to reading this month is by a Scottish author, too. Gods and Beasts by Denise Mina

.... I just realized nearly all the books I'm intending to read this year are by women. SO COOL :D
